Service / Servicio

Mrs. Alice Nordman, Chairperson

The Service Committee concerns itself with the physical, mental and emotional needs of the parish membership.

Bereavement / Pérdida de un Ser Querido

Serves members of the parish when they experience a death in the family.  Members attend the vigil service at the funeral home, oversee meal preparation for the family on the day of the funeral, attend the funeral liturgy, and offer support to family members after the funeral.  This support is offered on a highly personalized basis -- cards, phone calls, or visits, as long as the need exists.

Men's Club / Club para Caballeros

Offers opportunities for social and service activities, and allows time for its members to focus on day-to-day spirituality.  Men can bring thoughts and experiences together on a regular basis and discussion, listen and share them with each other. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month.

Senior Citizens / Grupo de Ancianos

A social group meeting monthly for dinner is open to all parishioners age 55 and older. Date, time, & place are published in the bulletin.

Red Hat Society / Sociedad de Sombreros Rojos

Ladies gathering for good times on a regular basis with the mission of helping those in need.

Social Concerns / Asustos de Justicia Social

To increase the awareness of our parish members to the social issues that confronts us in our near and extended community and to provide means of addressing and acting upon the needs of those in our community.  Parishioners are also encouraged to become part of the Faithful Citizens Network of the Catholic Conference of Kentucky, www.ccky.org
